Our seven core services, which encompass all of our 26 programs, cover: Housing, Foster care, Outpatient counseling, At-home services, School-based services, Sexual abuse services, and Camps. HousingProviding housing to children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric, emotional, and developmental disabilities and to victims of domestic violence.
 Foster CareProviding preventive counseling to families in crisis, and loving foster families to children suffering from abuse and neglect. Outpatient CounselingLicensed professionals provide outpatient counseling to individuals and families in a comfortable, warm environment or advice and direction over the phone.
 At-Home ServicesProviding at home services to individuals with developmental disabilities, respite to families with children with disabilities, mobile services to homebound individuals with psychiatric problems, Medicaid service coordination, and case management. School-Based ServicesProviding students, faculty, and community groups with workshops and trainings on current issues affecting out children. Also providing mentoring opportunities to students. Sexual Abuse ServicesOhel's RESPECT Program provides counseling services to victim survivors of sexual abuse and their families. Also offering community workshops on safety and prevention from unwanted touch. CampsProviding camp experiences and recreational activities to individuals with developmental disabilities through various integrated summer camping opportunities, end of summer camp programs, as well as recreation and after school-programs throughout the year. |

OHEL Children's Home and Family Services was established in 1969 to provide homes and families for abandoned, neglected, abused and disabled Jewish children. OHEL's seven core services, which encompass all of its 26 programs, are housing, foster care, outpatient counseling, at-home services, school-based programs, camps, and sexual abuse services.
BAIS EZRA means house of help in Hebrew. From birth through the life span, Bais Ezra services grow together with
individuals with disabilities and their families. Established in 1978,
Bais Ezra services are designed to meet the needs of children, adults
and their families at every stage of development.
THE ROSE AND MAURICE HALPERN LIFETIME CARE FOUNDATION AT OHEL ensures that a person with mental illness or developmental disabilities will receive high quality care and services beyond the lifetime of his or her parents with guardianship, advocacy, case management, and supplemental needs trusts.
