DBT: Skills, Concepts & Applications to Clinical Practice
with Adults, Children and Teens

Reji Mathew, PhD, LCSW, is a CBT/DBT psychotherapist specializing in evidence-based clinical practice approaches. She is Assistant Adjunct Professor at the NYU Silver School of Social Work, where she teaches courses in DBT, CBT, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. Dr. Mathew also serves as a clinical social worker at the NYU Student Health Center, Counseling and Wellness Services. 

In addition to her roles as both clinician and graduate studies professor, Dr. Mathew is a freelance journalist. Her writing is informed by her background in counseling, mental health, social work, and community advocacy, and her work includes a focus on emotional resilience, health advocacy and wellness. Dr. Mathew's publications include articles for Coping with Cancer, American Brain Tumor Association, Post-Polio Health International and Advance for Occupational Therapy.
