Reggae Star MATISYAHU To Perform at Purim OHEL Musical Benefit in Long Island!
Presented by Long Island Families for OHEL
In a first, Long Island Families for OHEL presents “A Musical Benefit” featuring internationally acclaimed singing sensation MATISYAHU. The acoustic performance will take place at the Sephardic Temple on Thursday, night, March 17th at 9pm as part of a Purim celebration. The evening will also feature cocktails and dessert, and fabulous raffle prizes.
Proceeds from the evening benefit the children and families of OHEL.
Matisyahu is an reggae musician who is known for blending traditional Jewish themes with Reggae, rock and hip hop beat-boxing sounds. Matisyahu's single "King Without a Crown" was a Top 40 hit in the United States of America. Since 2004, he has released award winning studio and live albums, CDs and a DVD. Matisyahu’s hip hop, rock and reggae vocals and acts delight his enthusiastic and demographically varied audiences.
