A great day of golfing fun, camaraderie for a great cause and great prizes, giveaways and sumptuous food took place recently at the Glen Oaks Country Club in Old Westbury, NY when more than 200 golfers teed off to benefit OHEL. Players were spread out over three, nine hole courses and there were contests for the Top Foursomes, Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive and Hole-in-One as the players competed in the tournament. The clear blue skies and perfect weather matched the perfect enthusiasm and fun had by all players and sponsors at the event.Best of all—all proceeds benefitted OHEL’s Children Home and Family Services – a winning event for players and OHEL.
A fantastic day featured a scramble format; special gifts for every golfer, including a Ping Putter, courtesy of Infinity Land Services LLC; and numerous raffles with super prizes. Hungry golfers enjoyed a full breakfast; a BBQ on the course; a cocktail hour reception and sit-down Awards Dinner at the conclusion of the tournament, when the winning foursomes and raffle winners were announced and the prizes awarded.
Winners included: First Place Foursome: Danny Abrams, Dan Lewis, Baruch Kleinman, David Braka; Second Place Foursome: Donny Frenkel, Michael Rosenthal, Josh Greenbaum, Ohad Rosenthal; Third Place Foursome: Gregory Rhein, David Flamholtz, Eli Goldschmidt, Shawn Rosenthal.

My business associates, colleagues, and friends are proud to support OHEL and had a wonderful day golfing at this wonderful tournament. It gives me great pleasure to know that my sponsorship helps an OHEL child and family and I am glad that many of my friends and colleagues who joined for the day learned about this great organization and how it makes a difference in the lives of so many individuals and families,” said OHEL Board member Marc Herskowitz.
