Children and Families Enjoy OHEL Bais Ezra’s Family Fun Day in Manhattan!
From wax sculptures to picture making, OHEL Bais Ezra hosted an exciting, activity-filled Family Fun Day on Sunday April 3rd at the Atlas Foundation for families who have children with autism. A great turn out with over a hundred participants, it was a non-stop entertaining and cheerful afternoon, and OHEL thanks its dedicated staff and volunteers who made it such spectacular time for children and families! The afternoon was jam-packed with a multitude of fun-stations to choose from. Children, along with their families explored the various sensory rooms in the autism-friendly place. A balloon artist created playful balloon sculptures, while some made incredible wax sculptures and others took amusing photos together in a photo booth. As always at any OHEL Bais Ezra event, everyone enjoyed the delicious spread of food served!
A parent who attended the event commented: “Thank you for providing such an incredible day of fun for both our son and myself! Not only did our son have an enthralled afternoon, but I enjoyed the activities with him, and it provided a wonderful bonding experience!” OHEL provides a range of services for individuals with autism - from children to adults – from at-home behavior training, after-school and Sunday programs, day habilitation programs, recreational activities, Shabbatons and much more.
