I specialize in trauma-informed care and use evidence-based approaches such as DBT, CBT, and Psychodynamic therapy to empower clients of all ages. I work from a strengths-based, culturally responsive perspective, fostering a supportive space for healing and growth. I am also part of the DBT Team at Ohel, where I focus on empowering clients to build resilience and make lasting change.

Maskit Teichman, LMSW, is an integrative therapist who supports individuals and groups through healing and transformation. With specialized training in DBT, DBT-PTSD, AEDP, IFS, and certification in Level A IPT, her approach blends evidence-based modalities with deep emotional presence. Maskit works primarily with survivors of intimate partner violence and individuals with histories of interpersonal trauma, creating a therapeutic space rooted in safety, empathy, and empowerment. In addition to providing individual and group therapy, she conducts clinical intakes and serves on the crisis line, offering grounded support during times of acute distress. Guided by the belief that healing is a collaborative and deeply human journey, Maskit brings compassion, authenticity, and intention to every aspect of her work. Maskit provides care in English and Hebrew.
