
Mendel Cunin is a dedicated mental health counselor (MHC-LP) with experience working with adolescents and adults. He provides individual and couples therapy and facilitates an interpersonal process group for adults in their 20s and 30s who struggle to form deep and meaningful connections. Mendel specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges, and is currently part of Tikvah’s intake and clinical team.
Grounded in a strong belief in the healing power of relationships, Mendel completed a year of post-graduate group therapy training, Level 1 training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for adolescents working through trauma. He draws from evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EFT, and group process work to support clients in building emotional resilience and meaningful connection.
