Mikhail Magzinnik, with over two decades of experience as a licensed bilingual psychotherapist, has had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients across life stages—from young adults navigating identity and life transitions, to professionals facing burnout or entrenched interpersonal patterns, to individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness. Much of his clinical work has focused on helping people manage depression, anxiety, trauma, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, and the impact of early relational wounds.
His therapeutic approach draws from evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), always through a trauma-informed lens. He emphasizes safety, collaboration, and the importance of the therapeutic relationship, believing that meaningful change happens when clients feel understood and empowered.
In addition to his clinical practice, he has spent many years supervising both interns and experienced clinicians. He sees supervision as both a craft and a relationship—one that invites reflection, deepens clinical thinking, and supports therapists in developing their unique voice. He aims to provide a steady, thoughtful space where curiosity, accountability, and professional growth can thrive.
