Shalom Augenbaum, PhD, LCSW, CASAC-G, is the Clinical Director at Ohel’s Tikvah Clinic. With over 15 years of experience in the field, he focuses on developing therapists, deepening clinical thinking, and building a culture of compassion and excellence within the program. Shalom provides care in English.
He is also the author of “Inside-Outside Parenting” and “Divorced: Beyond the Mezbeiach’s Tears.” and is a sought-after educator and speaker known for translating complex psychological concepts into practical, relatable language.
Shalom incorporates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into his clinical work. He holds a PhD in Clinical Social Work and maintains credentials as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC-G).
