“My therapeutic process is warm, collaborative, and relational. I aim to create a secure environment for the individuals I work with to engage in the very brave work of getting to know one’s-self and evolving into the person that most aligns with their values and life goals. My main approaches to therapy are psychodynamic and attachment- based with a sprinkling of various other modalities as therapy is not a one-size-fits-all experience. I believe that once a person is able to understand how their patterns develop early on as a way to help them adapt to and cope with life experiences, we can begin the work of making adjustments and “upgrades” so that they are able to make more mindful and conscious choices that fit more congruently into their current life. I work primarily with adolescents and adults who are living with the effects of trauma, mood-related challenges including depression and bipolar, anxiety, and substance use.”
