
Zahava Hurwitz is a dedicated child and family therapist at Ohel’s clinic and also serves as a member of Ohel’s trauma unit. Her career reflects a deep, ongoing commitment to helping people thrive. As Clinical Director of Brooklyn Bridges, Zahava plays a key role in supporting families in crisis, and overseeing host and respite care services that offer stability and guidance during challenging times. Zahava specializes in adolescent development as a Certified Family Life Coach for over 15 years. She has created a unique program that integrates positive psychology, coaching, confidence-building, emotional intelligence, and purposeful goal-setting to empower youth and their families. Drawing on 12 years of experience as a foster parent, her approach is rooted in trauma-informed care and guided by empathy, cultural humility, and a deep belief that every family can thrive when given the right tools and support.
