Zahava Hurwitz, MHC-LP, is a dedicated child and family therapist at Ohel’s Tikvah clinic and also serves as a member of Ohel’s Trauma Unit. Her career reflects a deep and ongoing commitment to helping individuals and families thrive. Zahava provides care in English.
As Clinical Director of Brooklyn Bridges, Zahava supports families in crisis by overseeing host and respite care services that provide stability and guidance during difficult times. She also specializes in adolescent development and has worked as a Certified Family Life Coach for over 15 years.
Zahava created a unique program that integrates positive psychology, coaching, confidence-building, emotional intelligence, and purposeful goal-setting to empower youth and their families. Drawing on 12 years of experience as a foster parent, her work is grounded in trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and compassionate support.
