Life can be overwhelming at times—whether you’re navigating a major transition, healing from past trauma, or simply in need of someone to talk to. At Ohel, our expert mental health counselors provide a safe, supportive space where adults can develop the tools to manage depression, anxiety, trauma, and everyday stress.

Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities

Ohel empowers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling, independent lives while providing essential support for their families. Through both day and community-centered programs, our person-centered services help individuals build life skills, pursue employment, and stay connected within their communities.

Trauma Services

From the moment a traumatic event occurs through every stage of healing, Ohel’s Trauma Team is here to provide compassionate guidance, support, and direction. Trauma can take many forms—events that threaten a person’s safety, stability, or survival, such as sudden loss, fires, natural disasters, or violent assaults.

Substance Use Education and Treatment

At Ohel, we know recovery from substance use disorder is not only real but within reach. Our team is dedicated to providing support in a stigma-free, respectful environment. We offer the tools, resources, and support you need to break the cycle and become whole.

School Services

At Ohel, we are committed to fostering the well-being of students, teachers, and parents through our comprehensive school-based services. From on-site therapists and teacher support helplines to printable classroom resources, we provide schools with the tools they need to nurture emotional wellness and academic success.

Domestic Violence

Ohel is dedicated to supporting Jewish victims of domestic violence or abuse and coercive control. With sensitivity, confidentiality, and dignity, our trauma-informed staff have helped hundreds of adult and child survivors rebuild their lives in a safe and supportive environment.

Camp Kaylie

Camp Kaylie is Ohel’s premiere summer camp based in our beautiful campgrounds in upstate New York. We take great pride in providing our campers a first-rate experience suffused with Torah values and life priorities.
