Helping Families and Schools in South Florida Heal After Trauma
When South Florida families and communities face trauma, they can turn to Ohel’s Brecher Family South Florida Trauma Services for compassionate support. Founded in 2022 through the generosity of David and Leah Brecher, our trauma response team provides immediate, expert care to those affected by accidents, sudden loss, suicide, violence, and life-threatening events.
With just one call, our specialists mobilize, offering trauma counseling and crisis intervention at no cost to those in need.
“When the Trauma Services team receives a call, we go to people where they are—at home, at school, or even at the scene of a crisis,” says Doni Silverstein, LCSW. “We work with individuals on their terms, with a focus on culturally competent support for the Jewish community.”
